I know a little boy who turns TWO today. He is a crazy little monkey, who makes us smile more than I ever thought possible. He is loving and full of energy. He cuddles and gives hugs and kisses just as often as he scales bookcases and makes dino’s attack! He is wearing the same clothes he wore last summer and his hair is quite long. He is learning to use his imagination and his vocabulary grows every day. Cole is getting bigger and bigger and we are so happy to learn with him and grow with him and enjoy all of the craziness he brings!
Cole is such a ham, he loves being around EVERYONE! Sometimes it takes him a minute to warm up, but soon enough he will be giving hugs and kisses and high fives to anyone willing to accept. He makes us smile all the time, making new sounds and jumping around all. He still sleeps like a champ, and drinks heaps of water, but now we know that he is just growing! He is the size of a yard stick and weighs 30lbs. He watches Yo Gabba Gabba, but nothing else. Painting and drawing seem to make him happy, but nowhere near being outside! He loves the bars at the park and playing in the water. He would stay all day in the tub if I let him.
I have learned a lot in the last two years, about me and about Eric and about kids! He has taught me to live in the moment, to enjoy the little things! I know is sounds lame but it is so true! He is a joy, a blessing, a gift! He is smart and unruly, independent, giving, full of energy, opinionated, and loving! Thank you Cole for two amazing years! I can’t wait to see what the next year brings:)
